This is so lovely - I have a son with learning disabilities who is also at a wonderful small school with teachers who encourage and empower him to come up with creative solutions and it has made all the difference for him over the past 3 school years. Indeed, we recovering control freaks are a large cohort! But the kids have such fabulous inner resources, if given the time and encouragement to find them!
I am following your son's art - he is a brilliant artist - in so many mediums! I can't believe he is 14 - his eye is so sophisticated! A great talent!!!👏👏👏
